Voter Registration

Household Waste

Regular household garbage pickup is provided by Lee County Solid Waste of Tupelo, MS. Shannon pickup is every Wednesday, once per week. 

Hazardous Waste

A drop-off site is available at the Lee County Ag Building Highway 45 South in Verona, MS. It is held once a year, date decided by the Lee County Board of Supervisors.

Education

Shannon has four schools all under the authority of the Lee County School Board.
